MOUNTAIN SLOPESTYLE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Designed for both new and experienced freestyle skiers and snowboarders, the SSSA Mountain Slopestyle Championships are taking place at The Lecht in 2026 and are open to primary and secondary skiers and snowboarders. Schools may enter any number of pupils and we actively encourage entries from pupils with disabilities or additional support needs.

The event has a very relaxed vibe and offers all pupils the chance to have a coached practice session to ensure they are comfortable in the park before their judged runs. First time freestylers will be given guidance and support to help them know what to do. 

After the coached practice, each pupil has the opportunity to perform a series of runs that will be judged and scored. All competitors are then ranked in their gender and discipline, based on their best run score
